In case you regular Monday and Thursday readers missed it, I posted a page this past Saturday about trade on the planet. Also posted a new incentive page.

I'm going to be editing some past pages and I re-named this chapter because I'm restructuring some things too. Also, made a new banner. Let me know what you think.

Hope she isn't a litterbug and at least stashes the body in a trash can.

There's a canal right there, perfect for body dumping.

Another beautifully rendered and interesting page. But questions (and nitpicks) come to mind...

Q: Panel 8: She did not cover his mouth or cut the throat. How did she prevent him from making noise? A one-armed throat strangle? Wouldn't that be a risky move?

Q: Panel 4: Crystyn may not like Essential. But is there a reason why she did not explain why it would be bad to drink? And I'm kind of surprised that Essential does not know what a sewer is for.

Beyond that: Doesn't the Essential cyborg have a sense of smell (perhaps even enhanced)? I'm a bit surprised that Essential doesn't recognize that the smell is foul and what that means. Granted, the sense of smell would be brand new to her. But foul is repulsive and some things are instinctual.

Why does Essential not directly access Crystyn's memories to find info on such things? We know Essential can, such as when she confirmed Crystyn's claim that she was awake during the procedure. Perhaps it's a matter of searching for relevant parts or knowing that the info exists? Or is it merely easier to ask? I doubt privacy is a boundary to Essential.

Crystyn might as well point out that the discomfort of a minor thirst is nothing compared to the tortuous pain she experienced from her procedure.

In the frame before that I was trying to show her claws and then she's ripping out his throat with them. I wouldn't want try try to cover a dog's mouth but maybe she could have grabbed his muzzle.

Essential has been trapped in a virtual box, so to speak, for a long time. I wouldn't assume that she knows anything of the real world. Crystyn mind is controlling some body functions, like how to walk, but Essential is controlling her will, like where to walk. Also, Essential didn't see the memory of the operation right away, so either she had to search for the memory, which doesn't seem likely because it was on the forefront of the mind of Crystyn as they were speaking, or maybe Crystyn has the power to only let her see what memories she wants her to see.
More on how their minds interact coming soon.

Yeah how about it Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez?
And that bra Mirriame wears still bothers me, I mean, if she were to bend over quickly she would probably impale herself....I ask you!

She has a lot to learn about being human. Will she think sand is good food?

She would probably stick her hand in a fire if she hadn't seen the dogs get burned up in the end of chapter 7.

Yeah food and water would be a no-brainer for most of us humans.

That will teach her not to check the operator's manual.

Usually if you see a Minkie woman, other than those in the city, you can almost bet she's going to be a bad ass. And these two are the worst kind. They are Vang Gaer as Mirrame suspected.
Mirrame, on the other hand, isn't a Minkie, she's a Kurra so she's kind of a wimp in comparison.

After the latest update it's made me take a closer look at this entire town arc. The guy who gets murdered here sure looks a lot like Mirrame's friend from the docks. Same outfit, same general appearance, and while it is hard to make out it looks like he has the same yellow eyes. Did Mirrame's fried get himself killed trying to keep an eye on her?

The side-laced leather pants pretty well clinch it that it's the same guy. His wife is NOT going to be happy!
