I added a new "Thank You" page to the TWC vote button. It's the new outfits for when these two make a comeback.

I have a friend that shaves his head every day. I've never asked him why, it's just his thing I guess.

I can't fault Liam's logic. If she wanted them dead she probably would have done so earlier. Though, they are rowing upstream. If she killed both of them now, she could let the boat drift downstream without rowing, assuming she wanted to go back.

Liam and Hochi should have questioned why she volunteered herself to be their guide. What's her motivation? They know she is Vang Gaer, working for the Countess on behalf of the Mala king, Stollo - in order to maintain their trade route.

Liam and Hochi also now know that the Mag Leung king was killed. I forget: Did he find out that the culprit was the Witch Broqa, King Stollo's personal advisor? If so, it'd be easy to suspect King Stollo of being behind it.

At the end of the last chapter we found out why Carrencia volunteered to go with them. The question remains is if Liam can figure it out. At least this page suggests he's using his head. (Hopefully, he'll make better use of his than Mirriam did of hers...)

BTW: Carrencia did say she owes the Countess her life. And as Vang Gaer, I'd think her loyalty to King Stollo would be unshakable. (Oath of Fealty, maybe?) Though, I wonder if she recognized Liam as the one in their prophecy (or how the Mag Leung "god" Tyranos threatens their whole planet), if that could change her mind.

PS: I hope King Stollo gets his. All this scheming and treachery... If Liam only knew how difficult King Stollo has made his life and threatened the lives of himself and his friends... But then, if Liam fulfills the prophecy and becomes a savior of Minkie and Dalai alike (and father to the Dalai's royal heir), King Stollo might view his resulting cult-hero status as a threat and have him killed anyway.

Yes, Hochi told Liam while they were in the cat pens on page 131, that a Mala witch killed the king.

The Dalai are the ones who believe in the prophecy. The Mala are only vaguely aware of it, but they do hold the humans in a high status, like saints maybe. Liri however believes that Liam has a destiny to save them.

In the last chapter, Liam and Hochi were suspicious of Mirrame, and probably more so of Carrencia.

The most important part of this page is this:
Whenever a Minkie puts their hand on someones heart, it is mainly for one reason; to feel the other's emotions. (Liri said that it may also mean flirting but she only said that because she was flirting at the time) Liam knows this too. They're both testing the waters here.
