That hydraulic fluid is not good for your skin. You should strip off the rest & scrub.

Well I don't know about future hydraulic fluid but the stuff we have now is really nasty stuff. Anytime I would work on a part that had any I'd have to get gloves because it can absorb through your skin, so actually all perv aside she actually really needs to get out of those and wash that stuff off fast, or she's gonna get very sick soon.

Considering that it's for prosthetic limbs I would bet it's most likely a much safer form of hydraulic fluid than what we use now. Hypothermia would be what she should be worrying about down in those could dark caves.

@ Jamie, Boren, and Fallen: Yes, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids are nasty on the skin, but that's what is currently used to meet the non-flammable and temperature requirements (Petroleum-based fluids are flammable).

By this time in the future I'm sure they've developed a synthetic replacement, not as caustic but she still needs to get out them clothes! ;)

It was not a bad idea to get out of her armor, considering that she's soaked. However, given the situation, this implies that she had to leave her armor behind. And -that- is a very bad idea, IMO. (Also, I would have thought that her armor had power-assist and would help her remain mobile while lessening the risk of further damage.)

Look up at image 5, then come down and explain why you are complaining about little probs like that again....

Besides we all know from MMORPG that the amount of protection female body armor gives increases with the amount of exposure of that body. Less = More

True, the biggest asset of her armor is that it acts as a bridge between her arms and legs. Without it she is only as strong as the weakest link, her spine (her hips were replaced too). She has a long hike out of there with one leg at half strength, and she needs to get out of there before more trouble comes. She has one good arm so she had a choice of hauling her armor or her weapon.

If you remember, every single off-world person stripped, or was stripped of, their off-world possessions as they became acclimated to this planet. Kirby is now becoming part of this world.

At least she still has her weapon.

When her prosthetics are functioning, she is a weapon.

I think Lennare might have disagreed with that theory if she where alive to do so.

She was still overdressed during that combat

Kirby: What am I forgetting?

Nipple rings? Chainmail bikini? Mitri? She could probably help you make sure you'd got all of that hydraulic fluid off, too.
